Service Technician - HVAC

Position Summary: To provide maintenance on residential heating and air conditioning systems according to company standards providing the customer with a high quality experience.

Work start and end time: 7am - 4pm Monday through Friday. (Weekends, Overtime & Evenings as needed)

Employment Type: Full Time

Pay Scale: $18 - $25 per hour

Qualifications needed for this position:

• 5+ years of experience
• NATE certified or acquire NATE certification within 6 months of employment
• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagram and blueprints
• Be familiar with a wide range of equipment and troubleshooting techniques
• Experience making repair and replacement decisions
• Advanced customer service skills - must be personable & posess good customer relation skills
• Knowledge of basic sheet metal practices
• Knowledge of air balancing principles and techniques
• Must be willing to help with installs if needed

Install Technician - HVAC

Appliance Installation Technician

Position Summary: Royal Comfort Mechanical in Grand Rapids is looking for an appliance installation technician to join our team immediately. We are a multi-trade organization and have opportunities to cross train within the HVAC department as well as other opportunism for growth.

Work start and end time: 8:30am - and continues until jobs are complete (typically until 430-5pm) Monday through Friday

Job Requirements:

• Possess a valid Michigan Drivers License, and be insurable
• Own your own hand and power tools
• Heavy solo lifting: 50-75lbs
• Heavy team lifting: 150lbs
• Comfortable with sitting, standing, and crouching throughout the day

Job Responsibilities:

• Interface with clients within their homes daily
• Install all types of electric and gas household appliances (washers, dryers, over-the-range microwaves, dishwashers and so on)

Appliance Installation Technician Assistant

Position Summary: Assistance with moving appliances from store location to customer home and helping installer complete projects successfully.

Work start and end time: 8:30am - and continues until jobs are complete (typically until 430-5pm) Monday through Friday
